We are delighted to share the highlights of our recent webinar, “Ensuring an Inclusive & Accessible Green Transition,” which took place on Wednesday, May 15. The event was a tremendous success, featuring insightful discussions and inspiring presentations.
Our very own Pilar Orero (UAB) began the webinar with a warm welcome to all participants. She discussed the critical theme of “Clear Communication for All, especially for vulnerable groups,” emphasizing the necessity of inclusive communication to ensure everyone is well-informed and engaged, regardless of their condition. Pilar shared her groundbreaking work focused on making scientific publications accessible for individuals with color blindness. This condition affects nearly 10% of the male population worldwide. Her presentation underscored the importance of visual accessibility in scientific communication and the broader implications for inclusivity.
