On June 30th, Anna Matamala and Pilar Orero will lead an exciting workshop at the 11th European Society for Translation Studies (EST) Congress, taking place at the University of Leeds! 
The EST Congress brings together scholars and stakeholders from across disciplines and sectors to explore the changing faces of Translation and Interpreting Studies — bridging diverse needs, definitions, and opportunities for collaboration. 
Their workshop, titled “Industry-Academic Collaboration: Research Impact in Translation and Interpreting Studies,” is split into two engaging parts:
A reflection on ongoing industry–academia collaborations, including projects like CLEARCLIMATE and ACCESSCAT, with the TransMedia Catalonia Research Group at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
A hands-on group session where participants will design collaboration strategies based on their own research fields.
