Prof. Pilar Orero will be a featured speaker at the TRIN4 Access Conference, hosted by the Department of Translation and Interpretation at Bilkent University.
The online event will take place on 21 April 2026 (15:30–17:20, UTC+3) via Zoom and will focus on raising awareness of accessibility in media and communication.
In her talk, “Media Accessibility is Boring”, Prof. Orero will challenge common perceptions of accessibility as purely technical and compliance-driven, highlighting its creative potential and its importance for digital inclusion and user experience.
